Bringing together work from past and present, artist Susan Parish chronicles over 3 decades of spontaneous moments captured in both photography and oil paintings at various beaches. While the photography is narrative, populated by beachgoers and punctuated by the bold colors and mesmerizing patterns of umbrellas and swimsuits, the paintings are quiet, abstract sketches of vacant seascapes. Combining digital media with traditional photography and painting, Parish brings a familiar New England motif to a new light.

Exhibition is free to the public.
