The Norwich Arts Center’s Artists’ Cooperative is a standing committee of the Norwich Arts Center who oversee the operation of both the NAC Gallery and NAC Gallery Too!.

Members of the NAC Co-op are chosen through a democratic jurying process. As a member of the Co-op, artists enjoy networking with their peers, the opportunity for solo shows, and the privilege of sharing their talent with the community through artists’ talks, teaching classes, and becoming involved with special projects.

Mission Statement

It is the mission of The NAC Gallery to provide, encourage, and support involvement in the visual arts, toward the goal of enriching the cultural life of the area residents.

Artist Membership

There are several levels of membership, including Elected Artist ($150 per year dues), Associate Artist ($50 per year dues), and NAC Member ($35 per year).

Artist Membership is open to all regional artists, and benefits include periodic exhibition opportunities and institutional promotion and marketing. Artists whose work is non-traditional are particularly encouraged to apply for Elected Artist or Associate Artist status, as this is the primary focus of the Gallery.
