Bjorn Olson began his adventures in art in New York City where, inspired by the work of David Smith, Anthony Caro, Naum Gabo and other modernist sculptors, he switched from painting to sculpture. He then undertook sculpture studies at the Parsons School of Design and the Sculpture Center. That started him on a journey from New York to Connecticut where he works today in steel, wood and plexiglas.
