Facility Rentals
Located in the Chelsea Arts District of historical downtown Norwich, and within walking distance of the waterfront, the Norwich Arts Center offers unique venues that are to rent for special occasions and theatrical performances. With its roots in the Norwich arts community, the traditional Victorian theater provides an extraordinary and versatile space that can be arranged to suit a variety of needs including weddings, recitals, seminars, etc. This unique venue seats 72 comfortably cabaret style and up to 120 theater style.
The NAC Gallery and the NAC Gallery Too! offer unique settings in the historic building suitable for hosting showers, business meetings, intimate dinner parties and other special events. The artwork in the Co-op Gallery provides an immediate ambiance, which can be enhanced by small tables, candles, elegant linens, etc. The works of emerging and community artists creates the appealing character of the NAC Gallery Too!, and the casual environment sets a warm and welcoming mood for your guests.
NAC Gallery Too!
We are now offering rental spaces in our NAC Gallery Too! At this time, we are charging a minimal rent only, with no commission taken. For smaller items like jewelry, we are not charging rental space, but will take a 30% commission on sales.
NAC Gallery Too! is divided into 8 spaces, see map for approximate sizes. Spaces are 1/2 price for 2009 except for December, which will be full price.

The NAC Gallery has monthly openings the first Friday of the month from 6 – 9 PM. If you are interested in our gallery space for the year of 2009, or if you have any questions, please call Rita Dawley or Mara Beckwith for further information. There is a “light jurying” process—one or more of the artists will review your work to insure that we maintain a high quality of items.
NAC is pleased to be able to offer this exhibit opportunity to area artists.
