Greg Sherrod Singer-songwriter Greg Sherrod is the lead singer of the Greg Sherrod Band. Greg spent many years in musical theater, starring in productions like Jesus Christ Superstar (Judas) and Nunsense (Sister Hubert). 

 

Growing up, Greg benefited from an array of musical diversity, allowing him to develop his own style of music he refers to as Bluesnsoulnrocknroll, a true hybrid that is a mix of all American Roots music with a strong Blues foundation. Sherrod transitioned from theater productions to singing with bands. He has performed with Booker T. Jones, Walter “Wolfman” Washington, The Disco Biscuits, and Michael Bolton. He has opened for Tower of Power, Johnny Winter, and many others. 

 

Greg has performed in Europe at Bourbon Street in Amsterdam, Café Honore and Caveau Des Oubliettes in Paris and Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club and Ain’t Nothin’ But The Blues in Soho in London.

The Greg Sherrod Band has recorded several albums and is known for its tight rhythms, powerful solos, and Greg’s powerhouse vocals and emotive interpretations of blues, soul, and rock, creating a soulful musical experience.
