THE CHRIS O'LEARY BAND

Chris O'Leary, the former lead singer and frontman for rock and roll Hall of Famer and Grammy Award winner Levon Helm’s band, The Barnburners, now fronts his own band as lead singer and harpist.

Chris has appeared on stage with legendary Rolling Stones sideman Bobby Keys, Jimmy Vivino, Jeff Healy, Albert Lee, and master harpist James Cotton to name a few. In addition, Chris has recorded with Bill Perry and Hubert Sumlin and others. O’Leary’s electrifying harp play and intense, powerful bluesy voice will blow you away.

Expect him to share vocals with his bandmates who are amazing singers in their own right. Lead guitarist Chris Vitarello has toured the world, performing and recording with, not only COB, but legendary keyboardist Bruce Katz (for over a decade); Vanessa Collier; and Jimmy McGriff. Beside COB, keyboard sensation Jeremy Baum has toured and/or recorded with Levon Helm, Shemekia Copeland, and Murali Coryell to name a few. Rounding out the band on drums is perhaps the finest drummer in the Northeast, Liviu Pop. Liviu has performed with Matt Schofield, Bruce Katz, Studebaker John, and Lucky Peterson to name some.

This powerhouse blues band boasts several Blues Hall of Famers.
