Self-taught at the age of nine Junior Mack’s soulful style is rooted in gospel and blues. His vocal influences have been The Soul Stirrers with Sam Cooke and Paul Foster, plus The Sensational Nightingales with Reverend Julius Cheeks early on with a later influence being Gregg Allman.

Mack’s guitar playing has been influenced by the likes of Duane Allman and Dickey Betts. He has worked or shared the stage with a virtual who’s who of contemporary blues including, The Allman Brothers Band, Derek Trucks, Robert Randolph, Government Mule, Joe Louis Walker, Lucky Peterson, and the late David Honeyboy Edwards.

If you venture to the Village and the world-renowned blues club Terra Blues, you’re bound to see Mack as he has a long-standing regular gig there. And for nearly fifteen years he has been lead vocalist and guitarist for the Jaimoe Jasssz Band.

In honor of Black History Month you can expect Junior Mack to not only play contemporary blues in his usual energetic style but to breakout his acoustic guitar to bring us back to the roots of blues as it was.

The award-winning Italian blues phenomenon Roberto “Rob Mo” Morbioli is back for an encore Blues on Broadway performance. It has been said of him:

“Rob is one of the most technically gifted, soulful, and incendiary guitar players on the US and European blues circuits. The blues flows so naturally for Roberto Morbioli, and his guitar playing and vocals are so polished, he sounds as if he grew up closer to Chicago than Verona, Italy.”   Boston Herald

“While Morbioli unleashes his hellhounds in front of the stage, you hear all kinds of funk, soul, shuffle, swamp, second line and everything that’s an unabashed, relentless feast for the ears, and other senses.”  Antoine Le’gat (Banana Peel)

As founder and frontman of the renowned European blues band Morblus for more than a quarter-century, Rob has played the biggest and best Blues Festivals throughout Europe. Every note comes straight from his heart. His playing is so infectious that you’re caught up in it before you realize what’s happening.

The last two of Rob’s CDs (Acoustic Me 2017 and From Scratch 2018) were Akademia Award Winners for Best Blues Album.

Morbioli’s guitar play has been likened to a young Eric Clapton and Stevie Ray Vaughan. Truth be known, this gifted singer/guitarist has a style all his own that will excite and delight you. As the line of one of the many songs he has written states, “I let my six strings do my talking” and talking they do…oh, so beautifully. He’ll have you wanting more and more.
